Here’s a word from our chairs:

 

Every year, men, women, and children who are praying for a better life come to Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph. They are homeless, unemployed, seniors, mothers, veterans, prisoners in transition – and caught in the throes of poverty. They bare their souls and bring their most heartfelt prayers. They are seeking hope.

Catholic Charities is a place of hope – where the most vulnerable in our community find compassionate support and truly see the face of Christ. When help is provided, their anxiety is relieved and they can begin to consider the path to a stable and self-sustaining life.

 

Encounters with Catholic Charities truly changes life for generations 
as the cycle of poverty is broken and hope is restored.

 

We are delighted to chair the Celebration of Hope Ball and support this important work.  On April 27th we will celebrate the lives changed this past year, and the hope that will be given to so many in the coming year.
