Pope Francis reminds us that every person is a gift. Each and every one is valuable and deserving of dignity. He also reminds us that we are connected to each other – in fact, that we live not for ourselves alone, but alongside the entire human family.
We’re called to care for those who are vulnerable and in need. Each day, we have the opportunity to live out this call through the mission of Catholic Charities. This is the work of every believer.
Thousands of our neighbors find their way to one of the Catholic Charities’ offices, but there are 27 counties in our diocese – and not everyone in need has the ability to visit a Catholic Charities location. That means that thousands of others in need may go unserved, unsupported, without assistance and without hope. We can’t accept that.
Your efforts on behalf of Catholic Charities will reach out across 27 counties as we take staff and volunteers “on the road” to provide services that restore dignity and hope to those in need – where they live and work.
The annual gala secures the funds necessary to provide the compassionate services – from emergency assistance to one-on-one case management – to families in need across our service area and help them move from crisis to thriving.
Help Catholic Charities reach out and strengthen our one human family.
